Some of you have asked if polishing your intakes really help. Well , for me it did and I have heard from several folks that have said that the mid-range has picked up and people are getting anywhere from 2 to 4 mpg more after doing it. Here are some pics of the intakes before and after. There is also a pic of the flapper wheel that is used to do the work. you can get the wheel at most welding supplies. It is a 1 by 1 by 60 grit. The whole job takes about 1 hour. Well worth the time and real easy to do.
